A mix between very basic words and only turkish intermediary sentences followed by text comprehension quizzes. The loud voice is the best feature for the pronuntion. The software is in place, now they have to populate it with graded learning material.
Great program to learn the basics. Im going to turkey for vacations and think i wont have too many problems comunicating because i know everything i need to with this app. You learn quickly and effectively. Only difficulty are the dialogs, i just guess to answer because its hard to understand the questions/answers without translation...
It helps to begin
This is one of my favorite Turkish language learning apps. Plenty of basic vocab, with sentences, quizzes, pictures, etc. I like the categories chosen. It lacks some functionality, like when reviewing the examples you cant go back and listen to ones you previously heard without doing the activity over again. Itd be nice just to have a glossary of phrases/words that would be easy to get to and play. But for the money (free!), youll get good mileage from the app.
With the written word, image and audio combo, Busuu makes language acquisition easy! Self testing, practice sets, and assessments are also key inclusions. Thanks, Busuu!!
